Student Spotlight: Cristina

Cristina's story is one that many will relate to — a successful professional career, a lifelong passion for fitness, and one day deciding it was time to bring the two together.

Before stepping into the fitness industry, Cristina built a polished career as an Executive and Personal Assistant. Organised, detail-oriented, and driven — qualities that, as it turns out, make an exceptional coach. When she decided to pursue her passion formally, she turned to IQ Lifestyle for the qualifications and confidence to make it happen.

The course delivered exactly that. Cristina walked away with a deeper understanding of coaching, class structure, and exercise programming — but more than the technical knowledge, it pushed her out of her comfort zone and gave her the belief to step in front of a class and own it.

And step up she did. Since qualifying, Cristina has been teaching indoor cycling, HIIT, and strength-based classes across Dubai. She currently teaches at OneFit JVT and Mantra Padel in Al Quoz, has delivered classes at the iconic SIRO Hotel Dubai, and has represented IQL as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

What makes Cristina's journey especially inspiring is that she hasn't left her corporate career behind — she's built both, side by side. Fitness isn't a career change for her. It's an extension of who she is.
