Phillipah Tsuro’s story begins not in a gym, but on a stage — and it is one of the most powerful journeys of service, community and personal transformation we have ever had the privilege of sharing.

Phillipah’s foundation in movement began with ballet at school in Zimbabwe. She later joined Celebration Church International, where dance became a vehicle for something much bigger — community building, youth development and positive change. She worked with churches, orphanages and communities across Zimbabwe, using dance and drama to bring young people together, develop their talents, and steer them away from negative influences. She even had the opportunity to choreograph for the Miss Zimbabwe beauty pageant and worked with the government of Botswana on health promotion initiatives, using movement to communicate vital health messages across cities and communities.

When Phillipah moved to Dubai, she continued her community work through Fellowship Dubai Church, serving as a dance and Zumba instructor within the church’s Sports Ministry — offering free fitness classes to both the church community and the wider public. It was through this volunteering that she was encouraged to pursue formal fitness qualifications, and she turned to IQ Lifestyle.

Over more than three years with IQ Lifestyle, Phillipah has completed Exercise to Music, Strength and Conditioning, KORCE Mobility and Kids Fitness qualifications, as well as additional workshops. She values not just the education itself, but the ongoing professional development, networking and community that IQ Lifestyle provides — describing the experience as feeling like part of a family.

Since qualifying, Phillipah has worked with an impressive range of organisations including Umm Suqeim Health Centre, ADSO Abu Dhabi, the University of Bolton Academic Centre in Ras Al Khaimah, Movement Day Middle East, Fortress, Dusit Thani Hotels, At The Park World, Dubai Fitness Challenge 30x30, Silk Souq, Fellowship Dubai, Spartan, Lemasol Solutions and Unicare — among others.

Her approach to fitness is rooted in community, accessibility and holistic wellness. She delivers sessions in outdoor spaces, homes and small-group environments, continues to offer free community classes alongside paid coaching, and collaborates with fellow professionals in nutrition and mental health to offer a truly whole-person approach to wellbeing.

Phillipah is the founder of GoDynaFit Wellness and BodyMindSpirit Connect — two ventures that reflect her belief that movement is about far more than the physical. 🙏

“My journey has shown me how volunteering can create a foundation for professional opportunities. What began as serving my church and community through dance and free fitness classes has grown into a career in fitness coaching.”

We are so incredibly proud to have Phillipah as part of the IQ Lifestyle community. 🌟
