Founder Spotlight: Irfan
Born and raised in the UAE, Irfan Omar's fitness journey began on the gym floor of a commercial club. He quickly progressed from gym instructor to Personal Trainer, specialising in obesity, diabetes and exercise referral — before co-founding IQ Lifestyle in 2016.
Over more than a decade, Irfan has trained and certified hundreds of students across the UAE, delivered courses in Pakistan, and served as a tutor, assessor and quality assurer for IQ Lifestyle's programmes both locally and overseas. His qualifications span Personal Training, Strength & Conditioning, Pilates, Water Fitness, Group Exercise, Children's Fitness, Nutrition and Exercise Referral — making him one of the most well-rounded fitness educators in the region.
Over the years, Irfan has worked with some of the top corporate wellness programmes in the UAE, delivering Children's Fitness and corporate wellness sessions for RAK Diabetes Clinic, Circuit & Weights and Pilates classes at Dubai Fitness Challenge, Mat Pilates at Prana House and Reformer Pilates at SIRO Hotel — building a reputation for excellence across every environment he works in.
Irfan was the first male and one of the few fitness professionals in the UAE to be registered as an Advanced Exercise Specialist with REPS UAE — a testament to his expertise and commitment to professional excellence.
Today, Irfan's main focus is his private clients — working with those who are serious about achieving real, lasting results through a truly holistic approach that brings together Pilates, strength, nutrition and mobility. Away from fitness, Irfan also leads IQ Audio, balancing his passion for education with his expertise in music production. 🎵
We are incredibly proud to have Irfan as part of the IQ Lifestyle story. 💪
